Sony PlayStation เผยสเปกของ VR HeadSet รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุดในชื่อ PlayStation VR2 และ PlayStation VR2 Sense controller อย่างเป็นทางการแล้ว พร้อมรองรับ 4K HDR มุมมองกว้าง 110 องศา จอแสดงผลแบบ OLED อัตราเฟรมเรตสูงสุดถึง 120Hz โดยเปิดตัวพร้อมเกม Horizon Call Of The Mountain VR เกมแรกที่รองรับกับ PS VR2
โดยเจ้า PS VR2 มาพร้อมความละเอียดภาพสูงสุดที่ 4K HDR มุมมองภาพ 110 องศา จอแสดงผลแบบ OLED Panel และมีความละเอียดในการแสดงผลที่ 2000×2040 มีอัตราเฟรมเรตอยู่ที่ 90 และ 120Hz
PS VR2 จะใช้เซ็นเซอร์ตรวจจับความเคลื่อนไหวของร่างกายและคอนโทรลเลอร์ผ่านกล้องในตัวที่ฝังอยู่ในบริเวณชุดหูฟัง ชุดเซ็นเซอร์การติดตามดวงตา (eye tracking) ชุด headset ที่มีแรงสั่นหรือ feedback ระบบเสียง 3D Audio ส่วนตัวควบคุม PS VR2 Sense ก็จะใช้ Trigger Effect และ Haptic Feedback เช่นเดียวกับในจอย DualSense
